In October - December I was selected to be part of the visual arts residency program at Fraser studios in the Old Kent Brewery site, Chippendale and these drawings were made for the end of studio exhibition. Old Kent Brewery has been bought by the property company Frasers and will be developed into large scale residential appartments complete with a cafe and gallery area. I have lived in Chippendale for much of my time in Sydney and have been invovled in many of its DIY galleries, activist centres and warehouses, many of whom have been closed down. These drawings map some of the changes taking place in the suburb.
